Poseidon Health Marine Phytoplankton is sold in powder or capsule form.

#1-The first reason why we consider Poseidon Health to be a scam is because they are a “middle man” supplier (not a growing facility) that buys bulk plankton from other supplier’s and then puts it in capsules and small containers like you see in the above picture. The repeated handling of the plankton product causes oxidization which will result in a shorter shelf life and poor plankton quality.(See example below).

#2-The second reason why we consider Poseidon Health to be a scam is because their Marine Phytoplankton is “Synthetic”. Our lab test shows a salt/mineral substance on their plankton that does not match REAL ocean water! This is common for inland algae growing facilities to just add salt and some fertilizers to regular tap water so they can classify their water as “Marine” base, thereby enabling them to grow a “Marine” product like “Marine” Phytoplankton. But the truth of the matter is, their product quality and RESULTS are a far cry from Phytoplankton that is grown in REAL purified ocean water.

We will tell you another little secret that “Synthetic” plankton growers use to grow their plankton. What is the #1 fertilizer to use if you want fast bright green growth? You guessed it… Nitrogen! Those of us that have lawns at home and want a bright green lawn know to use “Nitrogen” fertilizer because in just days it will turn a dull looking lawn to a bright green one! It’s a cheap way to get fast green growth. And so it is with those that grow Synthetic plankton with out the use of REAL mineral rich ocean water. It’s fast, it’s cheap, and it’s also lacking many other mineral rich nutrients just like conventionally grown fruits and vegetables. (See examples below)

#3-The third reason why we consider Poseidon Health to be a scam is because their bottle labels are home made and DO NOT have a batch number on them (See example below). For those of you that do not know what a “batch number” is, it is a number that represents what product batch is in that particular bottle, which is required by Label Laws. This way, if something is wrong with that particular “batch”, they can identify exactly what bottles have that product in it. It is also use to identify the expiration of that particular batch, which means Poseidon Health has an invalid expiration date for an unknown product batch.

Example #1

First we added 2 capsules (1000mg) of our Marine Phytoplankton 5000 to the left, and 2 capsules (1200mg) of Poseidon Health Marine Phytoplankton to the right and stirred. Both look very similar, until you let sit for 5 minutes (See example #2).

Example #2

After both products sat for only five minutes from being stirred, you can see the bright green of the Poseidon Health phytoplankton which clearly indicates the high “Nitrogen” content that is used in artificially made ocean water. The fast settlement of the Poseidon Health phytoplankton also indicates heavy inorganic substance (most likely stuck on the outside of the plankton cells) pulling it to the bottom of the glass.

Example #3

Still, after the first five minutes from both products being stirred, nearly half of the Poseidon Health plankton is floating to the surface which is an indicator that the phytoplankton was improperly dried to a very hard crusty product. This makes it difficult for the water to penetrate, causing it to float.

Example #4

One hour later, you can still see the Poseidon Health Marine Phytoplankton slowing falling from the top of the glass to the bottom, as water slowly penetrates through the hard crusty product.

Example #5

After 2 full hours from being stirred, you can see that the Poseidon Health Marine Phytoplankton that was once floating on the top of the glass has completely fallen to the bottom. This is a clear indicator that their product was improperly dried and has inorganic substance also dried on the outside of the plankton causing it to sink very fast.
