Re-Phyto-Lize brand Marine Phytoplankton is sold in powder or in capsule form.

#1-The first reason why we consider Re-Phyto-Lize Marine Phytoplankton to be a scam is because they are a “middle man” supplier (not a growing facility) that buys bulk plankton from other supplier’s and then puts it in capsules or labeled bags like you see in the above picture. The repeated handling of the plankton product causes oxidization which will result in a shorter shelf life and poor plankton quality. They also use over sized capsules (see example #1 below) and labels that don’t properly fit their bottles (see example #2 below) which is a sure sign that their bottles didn’t come from a professional encapsulating bottling company (which would never let such poor quality out their doors) but that of a home made “Do-it-Yourself” setup by just ordering bottles, labels and capsules to make while standing in your kitchen.

#2-The second reason why we consider Re-Phyto-Lize Marine Phytoplankton to be a scam is because their Marine Phytoplankton is “Synthetic”. Our lab test shows a salt/mineral substance on their plankton that does not match REAL ocean water! This is common for inland algae growing facilities to just add salt and some fertilizers to regular tap water so they can classify their water as “Marine” base, thereby enabling them to grow a “Marine” product like “Marine” Phytoplankton. But the truth of the matter is, their product quality and RESULTS are a far cry from Phytoplankton that is grown in REAL mineral rich ocean water.

We will tell you another little secret that “Synthetic” plankton growers use to grow their plankton. What is the #1 fertilizer to use if you want fast bright green growth? You guessed it… Nitrogen! Those of us that have lawns at home and want a bright green lawn know to use “Nitrogen” fertilizer because in just days it will turn a dull looking lawn to a bright green one! It’s a cheap way to get fast green growth. And so it is with those that grow Synthetic plankton with out the use of REAL mineral rich ocean water. It’s fast, it’s cheap, and it’s also lacking many other mineral rich nutrients just like conventionally grown fruits and vegetables. (See examples #5 below)

Example #1

500mg of Marine Phytoplankton fits perfectly in a size “0” capsule. Re-Phyto-Lize uses a “00” capsule which normally come with Do-it-Yourself home made capsule kits like the one you see in the picture on the right, because they are easier and faster to fill.

Example #2

See how Re-Phyto-Lize label does not fit the bottle properly and has an off colored white lid. Professional encapsulating bottling companies have all the inventory they need to perfectly match color and bottle/label size for each product they produce. Re-Phyto-Lize is obviously a “Do-it-Yourself” setup NOT produced in a professional encapsulating bottling company! Another VERY ALARMING thing is that there is NO batch number and NO product expiration date anywhere to be found on their bottle! WOW! That is a violation of label laws right there!

Example #3

This picture was taken after 2- 500mg capsules (1-Gram) were added to each 12oz glass and then stirred. They look similar until you let sit for 5 minutes (see example #4)

Example #5

After both products sat for only five minutes from being stirred, you can see the bright green of the Re-Phyto-Lize plankton which clearly indicates the high “Nitrogen” content that is used in artificially made ocean water. The fast settlement of the Re-Phyto-Lize plankton also indicates heavy inorganic substance (most likely stuck on the outside of the plankton cells) pulling it to the bottom of the glass.

Example #6

Unlike the foreign matter floating on the top of the glass in the Green Growth example page, the floating plankton in the Re-Phyto-Lize glass is due to poor quality drying methods. The individual plankton cell walls are dried together so hard (in multiple cell clusters) that the water can not immediately rehydrate the plankton cells, so a lot of it floats to the top like little balls of air. We know this because with a longer amount of time in the water, their plankton does completely hydrate but just takes longer then normal to do so.

Example #7

1-hour from the time both products were stirred the Re-Phyto-Lize plankton has settled 70% to the bottom of the glass, while 30% is still floating. As you can see, little by little the plankton cells hydrate and then sink to the bottom of the glass which is normal for synthetically made Marine Phytoplankton to do this during the first hour.
